Ci Snaps was built around Ciaran’s passion for sports photography, shaped by a strong eye for composition, timing, and visual storytelling. With a background in graphic design, he brings a refined sense of balance and creativity into his work behind the camera capturing bold, dynamic imagery that reflects the energy, movement and emotion of sport.
Originally from Ireland, Ciaran first picked up a camera on the sidelines of local pitches, capturing the intensity and spirit of Gaelic games like hurling and Gaelic football. Those early experiences continue to influence his work today focused on authenticity, movement, and emotion.
Working with clubs, athletes, and brands across Melbourne and beyond, Ci Snaps produces photography that reflects the true energy and identity of sport.
Now based in Melbourne, Ciaran works across a range of sports including tennis, soccer, rugby, hurling, and Gaelic football. His approach goes beyond standard action shots, aiming to capture both the defining moments of competition and the subtle details that bring stories to life.
By building strong, genuine relationships with athletes, teams, and clients, Ciaran creates a relaxed environment that allows for natural, engaging imagery. His work spans match-day coverage, training sessions, and branded content, always with a focus on delivering high-quality visuals that connect with audiences.
